Established in 1994, Ugacof is one of the largest coffee processors and exporters in Uganda and East Africa with a capacity reaching 35,000 metric tonnes of coffee annually and total exports for the 2010/2011 coffee year reaching 470,000 x 60 kg bags or over 28,000 tonnes.

Ugacof has extensive knowledge of the internal and export markets and a worldwide network of buyers for Robusta and Arabica coffee. We export to all continents and produce all usual Arabica and Robusta grades as well as special types at buyers' request. Samples can be sent for appreciation and testing.

Ugacof offers top quality transport and shipping services through its experienced logistics team, Ugatrans. It uses both rail (a line on the premises) and road to deliver cargo efficiently to Mombasa or Dar es Salaam ports and thereafter ship the cargo to its final destination, providing regular updates on the cargo position. Ugatrans has first class contacts with major shipping lines and can find solutions for all logistics needs.

By purchasing commodities directly from the farmer, maintaining the company's high standards, retaining skilled staff, and investing in machinery and logistical support, both coffee / cocoa quality and delivery times have been and will remain a strength and priority of Ugacof.
